The Schulenburg American Legion McBride Post 143 is working with the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild and Quilts of Valor® to present quilts to local veterans.

Quilts of Valor’s mission is to place quilts with veterans in a way to give thanks to their service, and help provide comfort to those “touched by war.” 

We are initially wanting to identify World War II and Korean War veterans, and in the near future Vietnam War veterans.  If any of you know veterans, post members or otherwise, please send their information to Rick Todd.  Info needed from them is: Name, Rank, Years of Service, Theater of Service, Phone Number, and address, if possible.
